Ordering a Sample

This page gives information on how to obtain a quote, a sample and then place an order

Requests for quotation

Please refer to our enquiry page filling in the details of your enquiry. We will send you a suggested solution to meet your requirement along with the price and, where applicable, a drawing of the filter. 

Requesting a sample

A sample of your window can be supplied for testing. Please email your request to information@opticalfilters.co.uk stating the quotation number and confirming the build and dimensions.

Placing an Order

You can email your order to information@opticalfilters.co.uk. 
Please state the quotation number. On receipt of your order, we will raise a production release note (PRN) with details of the product build, dimensions and tolerances. On receipt of your confirmation, we will proceed with production.

If you wish to order a product that you have purchased from us in the past, please state the product reference, previous invoice number or product description.

Payment Methods

You may pay by cheque, direct bank transfer or credit card.
Cheque and bank transfers must be cleared prior to order acceptance.
Credit card transactions will be made prior to shipment.

Please note that credit accounts are not authorised for annual purchase values of less than £5000 unless there are exceptional circumstances. Please complete the credit application form (1.5MB Microsoft Word .doc format) and submit for approval.

Conditions of sale

1. Prices are in UK£(Sterling) and exclude delivery and VAT.
2. All export orders are F.O.B. UK Airport. All other costs are to the Customers account.
3. Payment terms are net monthly for approved credit accounts. For all other accounts payment is required before shipment.
4. A Certificate of Conformity is issued with all shipments at no charge.
5. A minimum order charge of £60 for Standard and Distributor products and £100 for laminated products applies to all orders. These charges do not include delivery and vat and any other taxes that may apply.
6. All parts are supplied against our specification OIS/3 or the Manufacturer's specification in the case of products distributed by OFL.
7. All quotations are valid for 45 days from date of quotation.
8. A copy of Optical Filters terms and conditions of sale are available on request. These apply to all orders accepted. Any variations must be agreed and confirmed in writing.
