Cost-effective
Excellent optical clarity and transmission
High scratch and chemical resistance
Can be laminated for impact resistance and safety

Windows up to  1600 x 1000mm
Standard Thickness (mm) 0.8, 1.1, 1.6, 2.0, 3.0, 4.0
Colour  Clear and smoke

Finish
We offer a high quality finishing service, with a range of edging including clean-cut, flat ground, beveling and polishing.

Anti-Reflective Glass
Anti reflective (MLAR) coatings will reduce the reflectance of plain glass by about 9 times to less than 0.5% across the visible spectrum.

Windows up to  400 x 630mm
Standard Thickness (mm)

1.1 & 1.6mm
Other thickness supplied by optical lamination

Non-glare Etched Glass

Glass with an acid-etched surface finish provides a high performance dispersive non-glare front surface
This is a cost-effective solution where signal image quality is not critical. The further the non-glare surface is from the display the greater the image haze
Using a non-glare etch on the front screen of a CRT display can cause an interference with the light etching on the tubes. This will result in a coloured sparkling effect. To overcome this distortion the screen should be positioned at least 10cm from the display.

Windows up to  1600 x 920mm
Standard Thickness (mm)

1.1, 1.6, 2.0, 3.0, 4.0mm
Other thickness supplied by optical lamination

Multi -Layer Anti-Reflective (MLAR) Coated Glass

MLAR coatings will reduce the reflectance of plain glass by about 9 times to less than 0.5% across the visible spectrum.

Spectral Characteristics - measured at an angle of incidence between 0 and 15°

Absolute reflectance Rabs <0.6% 440 - 650nm
Average reflectance Rave < 0.3% 440 - 650nm

Reference specifications - MLAR coatings conform to the requirements of the following specifications:

Coating quality DIN 3140 part 10 (1978)
Abrasion resistance MIL-E-12397B
Adhesion MIL-C-48497
Temperature and humidity MIL-C-48497

Standard Sheet size (mm) 425x 370 x 1.1
627 x 1000 x 1.6
800 x 1270 x 3.0

Chemically Tempered Glass

At least two and a half times as strong as traditionally tempered glass· Five times as strong as un-tempered glass
It can be ground, drilled and cut without any risk of breakage
Chemically tempered glass, when laminated, will have a localized break pattern for better visibility

Minimum thickness 0.5mm
Maximum part size 400 x 500mm
Lead time 2-3 weeks
