Transparent Heaters
Some displays need more than just impact resistance and EMI/RFI shielding to complete them. These displays might operate in sub-zero or wet (or both) conditions, and in order to function as required they need to be kept at a certain temperature. While at that operating temperature, they also need to be readable, touchable, and usable. Transparent heaters are the solution to these problems, and our ThermoClare line is the solution to your problems.
Optically Clear
ThermoClare transparent heaters enable rapid start-up of displays to operating temperatures and improve the functionality of the displays in cold or wet weather. The heat produced by ThermoClare prevents moisture and condensation, and is distributed evenly across the display, keeping the whole screen clear. ThermoClare has an increased level of optical clarity, especially when compared to the highly reflective, thin, resistive wires usually used to heat equipment.
Rugged and Durable
ThermoClare is built for any situation where a high-performance transparent heater is needed, but it's frequently used in outdoor public information or consumer displays, outdoor industrial or agricultural monitors, cockpit displays, offshore, and marine applications. Due to extensive testing, ThermoClare is also qualified for military use.
At our facilities, we can optically bond ThermoClare to displays and additional layers or enhancements can be included for EMI shielding, contrast enhancement, and anti-glare control.
